NYC and summer

So we made it! Stops at FSU (obviously), UGA, Furman, KW Performing Arts Center, and UVA before hitting Carnegie were all terrific, and the actual NY concert was amazing. Huge crowd (including composers of three pieces), great time, and amazing playing from everyone. We had a blast! Since then I've been busy planting flowers, painting our teaching space and becoming more fluent with our new recording equipment (see the last post).

I love summer--by comparison, I'm probably still busy--but compared to a regular school year, much less one like the last, it feels like I'm on a cruise without the boat or water. Very nice! Just giving master classes for our summer campers, a few clinics here and there (Ney Rosauro's camp, GHP honors program, etc.), and gearing up for the next school year.

I realize that only three people even know where this blog is, and I apologize for not having more interesting things to write about, and certainly for the lack of posting frequency! Hopefully I'll have more exciting news towards the end of July to write about...More later!
